The 2nd Hasekura Cup Project, Proposal
Circle Wind Boys & Girls Choir, a sister choir of Japan Choral Harmony, flew to Coria del Rio, Spain, last year to support the 1st Hasekura Cup Soccer Tournament. Before the games they were honored to sing the national anthem of Japan “ Kimi-ga Yo”. They also visited a number of schools there to hold culture exchange projects. In Tomares they were invited to the chorus festival as a special guest and shared a wonderful time with all the participants there, including their old friends, girls of Escolania de Tomares.
Now the pandemic of Covid-19 has forced the 2nd Hasekura Cup to postpone until 2021 and now it is planned to take place in the summer of 2021 at a newly built stadium in Onagawa, Japan.
The outline of 2nd Hasekura Cup Project was introduced in this site last month in Japanese, but now its versions in English, Spanish and Italian are completed respectively as hereunder;
